Fast paced Non-Profit (EOE) seeks FT Team Member. 

Seeking: Outward focused, action and results oriented individual to drive engagement to increase awareness of substance use and mental health disorders in our communities, improve access to services for addressing these challenges, and eliminate the stigma around mental and behavioral health recovery & support across Curry, Roosevelt, Quay, and De Baca.  

Duties:

  • Create engaging campaigns for area residents, schools, providers, and organziations in stigma reduction, prevention, etc.
  • Create, host, develop, attend outreach activities/events: tabling, speaking, presenting, and public relations.
  • Prepare/ maintain inventory of print materials.  
  • Support efforts to establish NAMI  volunteers in our region.
  • Support local providers in use of shared database for human service network.

Work with Executive Director and others from 4 County Behavioral Health Partnership. 

Salary: starting $15-16 per hour

This position requires in-person support and/or service delivery be provided by the employee in various settings approved by organizational leadership to include, but not limited to, schools, outdoor settings, offices, meeting spaces, etc. When providing or participating in leadership-approved online activities, being on-camera and actively engaged are also expected and required as part of this work.

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communications or a minimum of 2 years experience in any combination of outreach, community engagement, or promotions. 

  • Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing community events that involve extensive internal and external collaboration. 

  • Experience in developing and facilitating outreach and promotional collateral, including presentations. 

  • Experience in software implementation is a plus. 

  • Friendly, personable demeanor, excellent people skills, including prompt communication and follow up. 

  • Must pass a CYFD Criminal Records Check 

  • Must maintain a valid NM Driver's License
